I was really taken by the way the tour was conducted. The people on board the bus were all great you could talk to anyone at anytime.
If you don’t enjoy touring with Tour Local there must be something wrong with you, they go out of their way for your enjoyment.

TOUR FAQs
We continue to do our best to navigate our way through this unprecedented situation.
We want to assure everyone that we aren’t going to just take your money and run – regardless as to what happens.
We will ALWAYS look to travel the tour by re-scheduling and providing you a choice of dates (where applicable)
If we cannot travel due to Covid Restrictions, you will receive a full credit of monies paid.
Please note, the current Covid restrictions have hit us all hard, but none harder than those in the Tourism industry.
These places we will be visiting RELY on tourism such as this, which is why we are so excited to finally be able to get back out and see them once more!
Full payment for our extended tours are due 2 months prior to the date of departure.
Any payment made after this time, without prior communication with us, may jeapordise your place on the tour.
We require a $200 per person deposit in order to confirm your booking on a particular tour.
This is transferable to another tour (credit) up until 3 months prior to tour, and non refundable after that.
For our Extended Tours of 3 Nights or more, we do provide a home pickup and return service for those people within 60km of our office (Pakenham).
We will confirm timings for this with you closer to the date of departure.
For those that fall outside of this radius, or for tours that are 2 Nights or less, we look to arrange central pickup points, or we allow you to park at our office here in Pakenham.
We make these central pickup points easy to access, and it is out intention to get as close to you as practically possible
We are ALWAYS looking for any way to travel that we can – so cancelling a tour does not come easy for us.
If we were initially planning on travelling in a larger bus, then we would look to reduce the size of a the bus (which allows for a more intimate setting).
We then might look to change a few of the inclusions around – of course, we would keep you updated about this.
We then might look to change/postpone the date, to allow for more people to come – of course, we would keep you updated about this.
And the very last resort would be us cancelling the tour.
Keep in mind – anytime that WE need to cancel or postpone the tour, we of course would provide you a full refund of your monies paid.
The important thing to bring is yourself and a smile – we can take care of the rest!
But really. this is going to differ slightly from tour to tour.
We recommend that people pack light – as generally those that pack everything but the kitchen sink, get to the end of tour, and realise they never even used half the things they brought.
The few big ones…
– Any Medications
– At least one change of clothes per 3 days
– A warm jacket if things are looking to get cold
– Comfortable footwear
– A set of casual clothing
– And a good book never goes astray
– Remember, if we are going international you WILL need your passport.
We don’t like to travel with large group sizes, as we feel this can detract from the experience.
As such, our group sizes range from between 8 – 20 people, on any given tour.
